Special Announcement: It is with sadness that we learned
of the death of long time "British Representative" of the 306th BGHA, Ralph Franklin. Our condolences go out to his family. He was known by many
of our vets and followers of the 306th in the US and UK. He was dedicated to ensuring the service of the 306th at Thurleigh UK is not forgotten.
He was predeceased by his wife Daphne and they together created and operated the 306th museum located on the premises of the former Thurleigh airbase
where the 306th veterans served in World War II. The museum has been closed during Ralph's illness and incapacitation; however, his legacy continues
and the museum reopens on May 5th (see museum tab.)
