Squadron Combat Diaries

Russell Strong organized and put together combat diaries for each squadron in the 306th Bomb Group. Together with the mission reports and the other documents on this site, they let a researcher piece together the story of the 306th Bomb Group and of each of its squadrons at Thurleigh.

All four are text-searchable: open one and use your browser's find command to look for a name, an aircraft or a date.

The diaries are also indexed by name. The search form opens with Combat diaries already chosen; add a surname to search across them.
