The Bulletins
Fifteen Special Service Bulletins survive in the archive, covering weeks from 5 November 1944 through 20 May 1945. They were posted each Sunday and gave the men the week's recreational, entertainment and sports news from around AAF Station 111 and from nearby Thurleigh and Bedford.
They carry scores, schedules and reports for the Group and squadron sports teams; the base film schedule and the schedules for the cinemas and entertainments in town; the times of every religious service that week; and other matters touching the morale and welfare of the men of the 306th and of the ground support units at Station 111.
