Squadron Newsletters
Six squadron newsletters, two written at Wendover before the Group left for England and four from the last months of the war.
The Newsletters
A few squadron newsletters, for some light reading.
The two 423rd Squadron newsletters were published while the Group was still training at Wendover in 1942. The newsletter's “copilot” was Michael Roskovich, the “Mad Russian”, who became the first man to complete 25 combat missions with the Eighth Air Force.
The 367th Squadron newsletters, named the Pigeon Poop, are from late in the war and carry a column called the Bitch Box.
